Gym bunny!

Although I know everyone would love to see me in my tights giving a daily update on how the fight against cellulite is going, I have decided that they might not actually work (just the sceptical side of me coming out) and I have bitten the bullet and joined the gym! Shock, horror! It has been a while since I was a full paying member of the gym elite, and never fear I will keep you updated- let the hilarity ensue!

Hangover purchases... touch of genius or horrible mistakes!

So this evening's post is dedicated to hungover shopping mistakes! You know we all make them, although I think I made what is possibly the best purchase ever on Sunday! I ended up buying... wait for it- 'anti-cellulite tights' costing £15! Yes that's right!! Not sure why as it's not something that's really bothered me, but on Sunday it was the only thing I needed in my life. So in 30 days I will be able to let you know if they work or if I gave up half way through, as it does mean washing tights every evening! Not really sure what goes through my head sometimes!

Posting again...

Ok so if you read through the blog you will see I have habit of posting regularly for while and then nothing, and every time I have to write a post saying 'I haven't posted anything for a while, so here goes!' So I won't write that again! I did have something I really wanted to write about and I remember feeling inspired when I though of it... but of course I didn't write it down and in my old age my memory is not what it was! Stay tuned...

The case of the disappearing post-it notes....

Why is it that every afternoon at about 15.00 I lose a pad of post-it notes... I have opened 3 new pads this week and only have one left and I don't use that many! A large portion of my time is now spent (procrastinating) creating conspiracy theories as to where the post-its are going. Here are the top 3!

1. I am blacking out and eating them (not that likely but amusing)!
2. There is a cheeky ghost that like post-its and only bothers me!
3. People in the office need post-its and borrow them off my desk!(the most uninteresting but likely!)

There are many others but they are just silly... but if anyone thinks of any or can think of a way for me to keep tabs on my post-its your help would be much appreciated! and yes number 4 is probably the truth...

4. My desk is very messy and I'll find all the post-its when I get round to cleaning up!

I am just thinking how many things around town you can do for free- I went to a Banksy exhibition during lunch yesterday and it cost nothing, which is always fun! I have also been visiting the plinth in Trafalgar Square but I am very unimpressed by what I've seen, the girl I saw the other day was sat on a chair on her phone tlking to her friends on the ground... boring!!!!
This was one of my favourite pieces from the Bansky exhibition. It seems so true in this day and age... I do think, without wanting to sound pretentious, that his works provide a great social commentary.

Simple yet effective!

Thanks Dot for telling me about this one- definately up there with such classics as 'Jizz in My Pants' and 'Dick in a Box'... I know I do have a very childish and base sense of humour!

About time!

Ok, it has been a very long time since my last post (the internet hasn't been working at home) and I have been really bad at posting anything but I no longer have a good excuse for not posting anything i.e. I am now gainfully employed in London and live in a fabulous flat!!! and I know everyone is desperate for my blog updates and insights into the world of procrastination!!!

Is anyone voting today? I'm not sure how people are feeling about going to vote today- I suspect most people are so fed up with MP's expenses etc that they will either vote in anger for some of the more right wing or anti-Europe parties or won't vote at all! It is always so hard when you remember how many people died for us to have the right to vote.

I can't get the link to work, but here is the website: http://awkwardfamilyphotos.com/

I found this in the Guardian and it's quite fun to waste a bit of time on... anyone feel like sharing some fun family photos?
So another pretty uneventful weekend- great weather, working on turning the paleness into slightly more freckly palneness! Trying to galvanize myself into a new fitness regime and step up the job hunting, although I am at a bit of a 'can't be bothered' stage as most jobs don't seem to even bother to call/e-mail and say you haven't got the job- all a bit soul destroying but not the end of the world... although you know it's bad when Morissons don't even want you:-(
